Hello! Since your requests are open, can I ask Chixie, Cirava, Polypa, Daraya, Lanque, Tagora, Galekh, Zebruh, Chahut and Marvus with a human friend reader (who crashed on alternia instead of MSPA Reader)?
Reader is sweet and nice, a real cinnamon roll; but like Retsuko from Aggretsuko, she has a gift for signing hard metal. She use hard metal to shoot out her anger and frustration and telling what's deep on in her mind.
During a show at Chixie's singing stage, highblood are messing the prestation. Reader tried to stop them, but they are so mean that reader has enough and sing what she has one her mind with her hard metal voice to shut them of.
Thanks!
Headcanons Hard Metal
🧡 Chixie Roixmr ♦️ human!Reader 🎤
You and Chixie spent a lot of time together. You supported her desire to sing and were always kind and nice to her and to others. Chixie met you a few days after you ended up on Alternia and since then you've been spending time together almost constantly because you didn't have a place where you could even sleep, so you lived in her hive
You often went with her to record albums and to her performances, so when several highbloods decided to spoil her performance, you were also there. You tried to help her, but they didn't take you seriously. Chixie saw you clenching your fists, trying to keep a calm expression on your face, but you couldn't stay silent for long. You grabbed the microphone and sang in a voice she had never heard from you
Your voice was very different from your usual one. Such a voice would be perfect for performing hard metal, but she never thought she would hear such a thing from you. Highbloods also did not expect this and froze in shock, unable to say a word. You, with the help of your singing, seemed to throw out all those negative emotions that you had
Highbloods hurried away, not knowing what else they could expect from you. It was only when they left that both you and Chixie were able to breathe a sigh of relief. She was surprised by what you did, and you were very confused. It was unusual for you that someone saw this side of you, but if it worked, then it made sense, because now your friend could go back to recording his song
💛 Cirava Hermod ♦️human!Reader ✌
From the first day of your stay on a completely unfamiliar planet to you, Cirava has been looking after you. You seemed pretty harmless to him and sometimes he wondered how you could survive on Alternia at all. However, you were able to find friends pretty quickly, among whom was Chixie. You told him about the songs you heard from her and he was glad that you had someone to spend time with outside of his hive
He was sure that you had no problems when you went to see Chixie until he found a video on the Internet. He didn't know who took it off, but he quickly realized what was going on. Several highbloods wanted to interfere with your friend's performance. You tried to stop them, but they didn't pay attention to you. However, what happened next greatly surprised not only Cirava, but also everyone who saw this video
You started singing. The voice that you sang was like it wasn't your own, but Cirava quickly realized that it really was you. Your voice would be perfect to sing hard metal, which surprised him and made him smile. He didn't expect you to fight back in this way, but that didn't mean he took it badly
When you returned to his hive, he told you with a smile that he did not expect to hear this from you, but he was impressed. You were very confused by his words, but you answered him with an uncertain smile, rejoicing that your friend did not condemn this side of you
💚 Polypa Goezee ♦️human!Reader 🔥
Polypa and you became friends in a sense by accident, but your friendship became something you could be sure of in any situation. She knew that human on Alternia was difficult to survive, so sometimes she looked out for you. When she found out that you had a friend besides her, she felt relieved, because it meant that there were others on whom you could rely if necessary
Several times she picked you up from your friend Chixie's rehearsals. This usually happened when you returned to her hive closer to dawn. She didn't want you to get into trouble, so she met you, carefully watching so that she wouldn't be noticed. However, when she came a little earlier than planned, she saw how several highbloods decided to interfere with your friend's rehearsal and you tried to interfere with them
She wanted to intervene if they decided to harm you, but something happened that surprised her and shocked everyone else. You grabbed the microphone and sang loudly. It was like you were singing hard metal, releasing all the anger and all the anger that had accumulated in you with this song. Polypa saw the shocked faces of others and could not restrain a weak smile. She was proud of you. She was proud that you were able to stand up for yourself, albeit in such an unusual way
When you were walking back to her hive, you were very confused that Polypa had witnessed your other side. You rarely showed this side of yourself to anyone, but the fact that Polypa was not against it, but on the contrary, said that you did the right thing, giving vent to your anger, made you smile sincerely. You were glad that your friend stayed by your side no matter what
💚 Daraya Jonjet ♦️ human!Reader 🖤
Daraya rarely left the hive where she and the other jadebloods lived, but when you started living with them, you sometimes began to walk together. For you, it was an opportunity to get to know a planet alien to you better, and for her, it was an opportunity to be unsupervised. It was thanks to you that she met Chixie. You often went to her rehearsals and attended her concerts several times
When you came to her new rehearsal, something happened that you didn't really expect. Several highbloods came who decided to spoil the rehearsal for the sake of a joke. You tried to stop them from doing it. Daraya frowned, realizing that she was unlikely to be able to help, and also understood that neither you nor Chixie could stop them. However, something happened that she did not expect. You stood up for your friend, albeit in a rather unusual way
You grabbed the microphone that one of the highbloods took from Chixie and sang. Your voice was very different from the one you used to talk to. You sang something very similar to hard metal, thus releasing all the accumulated emotions. This greatly shocked and scared them, because highbloods were sure that you should not even pay attention to you, but now they did not know what else they could expect from you, so they hurried away
You were very confused while you were walking back to the hive. Daraya saw this and was in no hurry to start a conversation. Only when you apologized to her for seeing you that way did she tell you that she liked the way you sing and said that she would be glad to hear you sing again
💚 Lanque Bombyx ♦️ human!Reader 🌷
From your first day of life in the hive where all the jadeblood trolls lived, Lanque has been watching you. He saw how you periodically went somewhere and one day decided to go with you. You were too sweet and kind to refuse him this small request, however, he did not expect that you would go to meet your friend Chixie and attend her rehearsal before the performance
You were glad that you were able to share with Lanque what you liked. He came to her rehearsals with you several more times and when you came there again, a rather unpleasant situation happened. Several highbloods decided to ruin her rehearsal. Lanque thought you'd leave, but you didn't want to leave your friend in the lurch. He tried to stop you, but you did something that shocked him, and not only him
He saw you snatch the microphone out of the hands of one of the highbloods and sing. You sang hard metal and no one could even imagine that you could do such a thing. With this song, it was like you were throwing out all your emotions that you usually hid. Your sudden determination was able to scare the highbloods and they left, not knowing what else they could expect from you. However, Lanque wasn't going to leave anymore. He was watching you with a grin on his lips
You spent all the way to the hive in silence. You were too embarrassed by what happened and he was watching you. He was wondering how much else you were hiding. He didn't tell you, realizing that there wasn't much he could learn from you right now, but he wasn't going to leave this situation unattended
💙 Tagora Gorjek♦️human!Reader 🧾
From the first day of your acquaintance, Tagora wondered how you could survive alone on Alternia. You seemed too kind, too innocent for this planet. He was looking out for you, telling you that if you get hurt, he can protect you in court and make money on it. You treated his words with a smile, but still tried to be careful. He knew that you often went to visit your friend Chixie and sometimes you went to her rehearsals. He knew about it and sometimes came to meet you when he was somewhere nearby
When he once again went to meet you, he witnessed not the most pleasant incident. Several highbloods came to Chixie's rehearsal and decided to ruin it. He expected you not to interfere, but he wasn't surprised when you tried to stop them. He was watching what you were doing and didn't immediately understand why you snatched the microphone out of the hands of one of the trolls
Pretty quickly, he and everyone else present were stunned by your singing. You sang hard metal, as if venting all your anger that you usually kept to yourself. Highbloods were shocked by what you did and didn't know what else to expect from you, so they left, leaving you alone
Tagora did not tell you that he witnessed your singing, but he was not going to leave this situation without completion. He was going to send a claim to the trolls who tried to interfere with you. It was a little surprise for you that he didn't plan to tell you about until he achieved his goal
💙 Galekh Xigisi ♦️ human!Reader 👓
When Galekh first met you, he was surprised. You seemed very kind to him and he didn't understand how you lived up to your age at all. Sometimes you even seemed naive to him, but the fact that you had troll friends gave him hope that you wouldn't die too quickly. One of your friends was Chixie. You told Galekh about her and he knew that you often went to her rehearsals. He didn't usually attend such events, but he was not far from the rehearsal venue, so he decided to make sure you were okay
When he came, he heard a very loud and for some reason familiar voice. It took him a second to realize it was your voice. Looking into the room where the rehearsal was taking place, he saw how you sang hard metal as if not with your own voice and, judging by the shocked looks that were directed at you, it was unplanned. Chixie looked at you with delight and highbloods tried to leave and not catch your eye
Only when you calmed down did you and Chixie tell him that these trolls wanted to interfere with the rehearsal. They took the microphone that you took from them, they mocked your friend and you and eventually your patience broke. You were very embarrassed that they saw this side of you, but Chixie hurried to cheer you up and said that you have a very beautiful voice
Galekh gathered his thoughts only when you were halfway to his hive. He told you that he didn't expect this from you, but when he saw your worried look, he realized that you didn't quite understand his words correctly. He hastened to tell you that he was just surprised and glad that you were able to fight back, albeit in such an unusual way, and the fact that you were using hard metal to vent your emotions seemed to him a good option. He was glad that you were okay and able to stand up for yourself
💙 Zebruh Codakk ♦️ human!Reader 🦓
Zebruh was the one who introduced you to Chixie. Initially, she felt anxious from communicating with you, but quickly realized that you were not like your friend and she liked to communicate with you. Sometimes Zebruh would come to her rehearsals with you. You liked listening to her and Zebruh behaved more calmly next to you. But most of the time you went to her rehearsals without him
When he decided to visit you and Chixie during one of her rehearsals, first he heard a strange silence, and then a loud voice that sang hard metal. It was your voice. He hurried into the room where the rehearsal was taking place and saw that it was you singing. Besides you and Chixie, there were several highbloods in the room who clearly shouldn't have been there and now they were clearly trying to leave so as not to be completely deafened by your voice
It was only when the highbloods left that you could breathe a sigh of relief. You had to explain to Zebruh that you usually used hard metal to release emotions that you didn't show to other people, but on Alternia you didn't have such opportunities until this moment. You were very confused by this and Zebruh was surprised, because he was sure that you were a gentle and kind human, but this side of you seemed interesting to him
Several times he offered to help you make a career as a singer, but you refused, claiming that hard metal was just a hobby for you and you weren't going to make a career out of it. He claimed that if you want, you can always turn to him, because he was your friend and was always ready to help you discover your talent
💜 Chahut Maenad ♦️ human!Reader 🪓
Chahut enjoyed spending time with you. Since you became friends, she more and more often drew attention to how fragile you were compared to trolls. That's why she was looking out for you to make sure nothing would happen to you. But she knew that periodically you went to visit your friend Chixie. Chahut didn't worry about it, knowing that nothing would happen to you
One day she came to the place where the rehearsal was taking place to meet you. She planned to take you home because she had free time, but when she came, several highbloods almost crashed into her, which immediately left. She didn't immediately understand why they ran away, but when she came to the rehearsal room, she saw you sitting on the floor and putting your breath in order, while Chixie looked at you with delight in her eyes
You and Chixie told her that those trolls came to ruin the rehearsal. They were going to break the equipment, but you couldn't keep quiet anymore. You snatched the microphone out of the hands of one of them and started singing hard metal. It shocked them and pretty quickly they hurried away, as if fearing you. You didn't understand the reason, because for you hard metal was just a way to vent negative emotions, because you were usually quite friendly and nice to others. Chahut was surprised by this, but at the same time glad that you rebuffed the detractors
Chahut wasn't going to specifically look for those who tried to offend you, but she remembered them. She intended to have a conversation with them about how they shouldn't even try to harm her friend if she met them again
💜 Marvus Xoloto ♦️ human!Reader 🎤
Marvus often took you to various musical events. He was closely connected with this and you were happy to go there with your friend, learning more about Alternia. However, you had other ways to learn more about this planet, because you had friends. One of your friends was Chixie. Marvus has heard of her but has not met her personally. He planned to meet her a little later, together with you, but his plans changed when you asked him to meet you after Chixie's rehearsal. He gladly agreed to your request
When he came, at first he did not assume anything unusual. However, pretty quickly he heard your voice. You were trying to convince someone of something. He immediately realized that some unforeseen situation had happened and hurried to you, but before he could open the door, your loud singing, amplified by the speakers, suddenly rang out. You were singing hard metal and when he opened the door, he saw the shocked and slightly frightened looks of several highbloods who clearly shouldn't have been at the rehearsal
Highbloods left, trying not to look at you and didn't even notice him. Only when they left did you finish singing and try to get your breath back in order. When you saw Marvus, you blushed, greatly embarrassed that he saw this side of you. Marvus was too worried that you might get hurt, so he hurried to take you away, only briefly saying goodbye to Chixie
Only in the car did he find out what caused this. He found out that hard metal was a way for you to release your negative emotions and this time your negative emotions went over the edge. You were embarrassed by it, but Marvus calmed you down by saying that you have a beautiful voice and that you shouldn't be ashamed of it. His words made you smile sincerely, which could not but please him

Judicious Reaper AU
Hiveswap/Death Note Crossover
Tyzias Entykk is going heading home for the night when she stumbles across a strange black book on the ground. She picks it up and reads the five rules, written in plain Alternian.
The troll whose name is written in this note shall die.
This note will not take effect unless the writer has the person's face in their mind when writing his/her name. Therefore, people sharing the same name will not be affected.
If the cause of death is written within the next 40 seconds of writing the person's name, it will happen.
If the cause of death is not specified, the person will simply die of a heart attack.
After writing the cause of death, details of the death should be written in the next 6 minutes and 40 seconds.
She shrugs it off and stuffs the "Death Note" into her bag, figuring it's just some weeb thing that Tegiri dropped and she could return it to him tomorrow.
Later that night, she finds herself mulling over the Death Note with the TV on in the background, wondering what it could be from. Tegiri's never been shy about his interests, so it does strike her as odd that she's never heard him mention it. It's not like it could be new either, as Tegiri would've bragged about his new notebook the first chance he got. Just as Tyzias resolves to look it up, Trizza appears on the TV screen.
Trizza subjects her audience to another one of her narcissistic tyraids about how much better she is than everyone else and how she's definitely the rightful Empress. Tyzias, already tired from a long night of work and throughly fed up with Alternia's bullshit for that night, decides to write Trizza's name in the Death Note. Just as Tyzias dryly remarks to herself that "i wwwwish it wwwwas that easy", Trizza drops dead on stage. Tyzias drops her mug in shock.
Alternia is sent reeling on the inexplicable death of its Heiress and Tyzias is left staring mortified at the Death Note in her hands. She quickly throws the book in the trash and resolves to try and get to bed early that day, knowing she'll have a long night of work tomorrow. She doesn't get much sleep that night.
Predictably, Alternia has descended into absolute chaos by the time Tyzias wakes up. Trizza's death has inspired the rebellion to be more overt and violent, actively organizing raids and invasions while highblooded rebels like Fiamat try and seize control of the power vacuum. This leaves Tyzias swimming in so much paperwork that she barely has time to even think about the Death Note in between tending to the emotional needs of a shocked and confused Stelsa and trying to get her work done on time.
In the coming weeks, the Purples and Violets loyal to the Empire begrudgingly unite to try and get a handle on things. Chahut is elected as a stand-in heiress, as she's the only one persuasive enough to convince the castes to work together for the time being. Marvus, however, has a different reaction.
He knows for a fact that Trizza didn't just die. The Messiahs gave him the script, told him how everything was supposed to play out, and Trizza was much to important to drop dead. She was assassinated, she had to be. It was the only rational explanation, even if he didn't understand how just yet. His only choice was to find this assassin and play damage control to try and correct this timeline. Part of him knew that was impossible, that they'd gone so wildly off script that their timeline was doomed now, but that's what made the challenge so appealing.
It's only when her work load had died down several weeks later that Tyzias thinks to pull the Death Note out of the garbage. That's when she found Ryuk standing over her. After she panics and tosses her mug through his head, Ryuk laughs and intoduces himself.
He explains to her what he and the Death Note are and why he dropped it on Alternia. Sure, Ryuk is typically supposed to be one of Earth's shinigami, he's had a lot of trouble finding good entertainment sense "that Light kid died" and figured a more bloodthirsty species could provide it.
"You, however, seem to be an exception to that rule. Most trolls in your place would be thrilled to have this much power. But you seem almost afraid of it. Afraid of what you could do with that power and afraid of what that power could do with you. I can't say any if its human owners had that same wisdom."
Tyzias admits that she doesn't really know what to do with it. She'd always wanted to stage a nonviolent revolution, to reform the system from inside while killing as few people as possible. But, that was before she had the Death Note. With which she could control the Rebellion's body count, only burn down what she needed to so she could come and rebuild it into something better.
Tyzias decides to take her mind off the dilemma by chasing down a case that interests her. Lowbloods had been going missing in her area lately and she wanted to investigate. It would've been easy to just chalk this up to violence in response to Trizza's death, but there were no bodies. No signs of struggle even, suggesting that either the lowblood community had either taken the opportunity to evacuate en mass or they'd been abducted during all the confusion.
She finds her breadcrumb trail and follows it back to one Zebruh Codakk, who'd taken the opportunity to lure lowbloods to his hive with the offer of safely sitting out the violent rebellion. True to form, he immediately enslaved those who accepted his invite.
Unfortunately, this is where Tyzias' case would hit a brick wall. Highbloods enslaving Lowbloods wasn't illegal and it would take months for her to forge enough evidence to convict Zebruh of an actual crime. But.... Tyzias has the Death Note. With the flick of a pen, she could remove Zebruh from the picture and free all his slaves.
So, one night, Zebruh mysteriously dies of a heart attack while a strange troll in a cloak frees his slaves. She introduces herself as a "judicious reaper" and advises them to take as much of Zebruh's stuff as they can and run. Their hives aren't safe anymore, the authorities would likely pin Zebruh's death on them.
Marvus, meanwhile, has been blindly searching for leads on Tizza's killer and hears about Zebruh's death. Through this, he puts together that the assassin is a genuine revolutionary and not just someone grasping for power, given both their targets were cruel towards Lowbloods and killing Zebruh wouldn't likely solidy any kind of power base for them given how unpopular he was. After he tracks down one of the escaped slaves, he learns about the "judicious reaper" who saved them and deduces that the assassin might actually live nearby. After all, they didn't show up at the scene of Trizza's death, but they did show up here. Or, at least, sent one of their operatives here to free the slaves.
He decides to test this theory. He orders a squad of bluebloods to seize control of the town, cutting of the wifi and intercepting all incoming signals, before rounding up a random selection of five trolls from each caste. The plan is to publicly execute them in the town square under the excuse of "quelling rebellion". If the killer does indeed live in that town and they're as altruistic as Marvus suspects, they'll likely kill these executioners to prevent any deaths, inadvertently outing that they live in that small town.
The killer clearly has supernatural means available, as Trizza and Zebruh seemed to die of natural causes, which means that supernatural system likely has rules and limitations to it. This gives Marvus the hunch that the killer might need names and faces to kill people. As such, only some of the executioners will publicly announce their names or take off their masks.
Tyzias is unaware of the ploy and of the full extent of Marvus' knowledge, as she has no reason to believe that anyone suspects that there even was a killer. As such, she's trying to figure a way out of this situation that won't give anyone looking for patterns a reason to think that there might be a killer. Unfortunately, Stelsa is one of the trolls selected to be executed, so her hand is forced.
Luckily, Stelsa's executioner gave both his name and his face, so Stelsa was saved, but Tyzias couldn't save all of them and a good chunk of trolls were still executed. She suspects now that this was a set up, given how weird and candid it was that some of the executioners gave their names and faces but others didn't, but her attention is currently on comforting Stelsa.
Marvus is ecstatic at having his theory proven correct and decides to investigate. Not personally, but by proxy. He's a celebrity, so he can't exactly go asking around himself, nor could any of his associates without raising suspicion. So, he decides to outsource to the last kind of troll that the killer would suspect. Boldir.
Boldir has been a pretty open pain in Marvus's neck for awhile now. He knows she's constantly poking around where she shouldn't be and he knows she's good enough at it to not leave any kind of tangible, solid proof. He'd only been tolerating her because the script said he needed her alive, but now she can play into his hands a little more directly. Marvus tracks her down and meets her in person at her hive, both because she'd figure out he's involved if he tried to deal with her indirectly anyways and because it makes the statement of "I know who you are and where you and your loved ones live". Boldir initially refuses to cooperate, but her interest is peaked when he offers her a favor. Marvus knows about Fozzer and he knows about how his personality has changed. Marvus offers to use his chucklevoodoos to get to the bottom of Fozzer's strange behavior if Boldir investigates this "judicious reaper" for him.
Meanwhile, Tyzias is comforting Stelsa. She's hesitant to open up to Tyzias, as they're matesprites and not moirails, but ultimately, she has no one else to turn to. Stelsa nearly breaks down going over how, not only is Trizza dead, not only does the Empire seem to be collapsing all around her, but the very Empire she trusted just tried to kill her for seemingly no reason. She's scared. Exhausted. Confused. And she just doesn't know what to do.
Tyzias considers revealing that she killed Trizza, all she'd have to do is hand her the Death Note, but she doesn't. Tyzias and Stelsa have always just politely ignored each other's political leanings. Tyzias has never had to lie about it before.
Putting those heavy feelings to the side for now, Tyzias realizes she has to get out of town. Killing those executioners was a big giveaway towards her existence and even potentially her identity, and, if it was a ploy like Tyzias suspects, it's likely the Empire's noose is closing in right that second. Luckily, Tyzias finds her answer online.
It turns out The Mask is one of the trolls Tyzias saved from Zebruh's clutches, and, after going through her files on Zebruh's case, Tyzias is able to figure out she's Chixie Roixmr. Chixie had been singing about the "judicious reaper" who saved her and had gotten people to rally behind them as part if the rebel movement. Tyzias sends Chixie a letter as this "judicious reaper", using her position to fudge the paperwork so this can't be traced back to her, and asks Chixie to perform live in her home town in three nights. Chixie announces her schedule change to her fans online, which sends swarms of The Mask fans to Tyzias's town.
Tyzias spins this to the now very paranoid local government as a potential rebel invasion and gets them to agree to an evacuation. Boldir keeps Marvus updated on this process and Marvus realizes that the killer is making an effort to escape. Deciding this would be the perfect opportunity to just get rid of them in one swoop, Marvus uses his resources to hire Azdaja and Konyyl to attack the evacuation train and kill everyone aboard.
This turns out to be Marvus's fatal mistake. Azdaja abd Konyyl start arguing at a crucial moment, allowing Tyzias, Stelsa, and Boldir to escape unharmed. Boldir even realizes how badly Marvus has shot himself in the foot as now the killer will know for a fact that someone powerful is after them.
Indeed, as soon as Tyzias, Stelsa, and Boldir make it to the next town over, Tyzias looks into the two assassins who tried to kill her. Realizing how expensive their fee is, Tyzias realizes just how powerful the person hunting her is. They're clearly onto her and have no problem bringing as much of their reach to bear on her as possible. So, she decides she has no choice but to take the fight to them.
So, Tyzias writes Chahut's name in the Death Note, effectively beheading the pro-empire side of the conflict. The should force her pursuer to back off and focus on the chaos going on above them, and it does. Marvus has to address this new power vacuum because otherwise he'll be next in line to fill the Heiress' throne, which would put him next on the killer's chopping block. Knowing he can't leave Boldir to handle this case unsupervised, he decides to kidnap Fozzer and use him ti threaten her into line directly. Now, Boldir is forced to wear a recorder all night, every night to make sure she doesn't try to betray him while he sorts things out between the purple bloods and the violet bloods.
Unfortunately, Marvus doesn't have to wait much longer to get results. Boldir is able to pin down Tyzias's identity after she pickpockets the Death Note and gets a good look at it. While Boldir doesn't meet Ryuk, as ahe snuck off before the two could notice each other, she does see that the names written down perfectly match the killer's known victims. That, alongside the rules listed up front, gives her enough proof to pin Tyzias as the killer. Boldir quietly returns the notebook so to avoid alerting Tyzias before informing Marvus.
After getting the rundown on Tyzias's personality from Boldir, Marvus kidnaps Stelsa to strongarm Tyzias into surrendering, broadcasting his demands to all of Alternia. Tyzias calls him and sets up a time and place to surrender, agreeing to come unarmed. In Tyzias's last gambit, she bribes Ryuk into staying out of sight on the night of her execution before sending Chixie a letter containing a page of the Death Note and the front page instructions how to use it. Thus, when Marvus attempts to execute her live before Alternia, he ends up dying as Chixie writes his name in the Death Note.
Marvus puts the pieces together as he dies, realizing that the strange black book filled with names that Tyzias had was how she killed her victims. He laughs and congratulates her for putting on one hell of a show before his heart stops.
With the pro-empire side soundly decapitated and with no one as competent as Marvus or Chahut left to carry the torch, Alternia swifty falls to the rebellion. Tyzias is offically given the title of the Judicial Reaper after her rebel friends rescue her and offer to shower her with awards. But, Tyzias puts all if that to the side. She needs to talk to Stelsa.
Stelsa is hurt, bitter that Tyzias did all of this behind her back. For as long as she had known her, Tyzias had said that she wanted to change Alternia peacefully. And, as much as Stelsa tried to dissuade her, she respected that. But, Tyzias assassinated the Heiress the first chance she got and now, one sweep later, had effectively taken over Alternia.
Tyzias tries to explain everything to her. She didn't want to overthrow anyone until Zebruh and Marvus forced her hand, she even hands Stelsa the Death Note and introduces her to Ryuk to prove it, but Stelsa is done.
Tyzias had the chance to tell her everything. Explain everything. Maybe even convince her of everything back when Stelsa was looking for comfort when the executioners showed up. But that moment is gone now. Stelsa leaves Tyzias behind with tears in her eyes.
Boldir catches up to Tyzias drinking at a bar. She introduces herself, explains how shes knows her, and apologizes for everything. She explains how someone she cared about was threatened and how she was currently tryinf to convince the rebels to let Fozzer out of containment due to his imperial bootlicking attitude. Tyzias symoathizes and the two bond over shared stories. Ryuk is bemused by the fact that Boldir doesn't seem intimidated by him.
After being given a high rank in the Rebellion's new regime, Tyzias is able to bring about the world she'd always dreamed of. Turning Alternia into a better world, step by step. After Glybglob is killed and the Condescension defeated, Tyzias finally works up the courage to confront Stelsa again.
After Tyzias took over, Stelsa wasn't really sure what to do with herself. So, she hid and watched the world change around her from the safety of her hive. Fear turned to curiosity and that turned to wonder. Stelsa has, during her sweeps in hiding, seen the ways that Tyzias had improved upon life on Alternia and is, after countless sweeps, willing to forgive her.
Sweeps later, after the Alternian Empire has been reshaped from the ground up and after Tyzias's body finally starts to give out, Ryuk comments that Tyzias is probably the only person he's seen win when handed the Death Note.
"Most people I give this thing too tend to lose. Usually because they try to cheat death, play God, or win big. But you? You didn't do any of that. And you won because of it. Sure, it made things a bit boring in places, but ut made things pretty fun too."
Ryuk writes Tyzias's name in his book. "Well, Tyzias, so long. It's been interesting."

Hey! Your writing was awesome! I've just discovered Marvus and his clowny glory a little but ago. So I've been binging his tags. Can I get a thing about his makeup? Kinda like Clowndaydreams' post about it if you want some direction! Thank youuuu! (O3<)~♡
Babe, you have no idea the power you just handed me. Like. Words cannot express the unholy glee that currently possesses me. I am gonna assume you want headcanons instead of an actual fic but if you wanted an actual fic feel free to send in another ask. Thank you so much for the compliment by the way! I’m glad people are enjoying my writing! I’m also gonna apologise because I wasn’t exactly sure what all you wanted me to cover and couldn’t really find the post mentioned (tumblr likes to test me some days I swear) so if I missed something or didn’t get it right just pop up in my inbox again no sweat!
-------
Okay so to start this off:
- Clowns get personal when it comes to the paint. It's a huge part of their identity and while things about the paint can change with time- it's all extremely well thought out.
- Marvus is not an exception to this. Every part of his persona lends to his paint and vise versa.
- Clowns, as a virtue, are rarely ever barefaced. If you manage to see one without their makeup then you’re both in it for the long haul.
- Marvus is a little more touchy about the paint than others would assume. There are a lot of people who want to know what he looks like underneath and so he’s extremely hesitant to get anywhere near close enough to someone for something like that. He’s extremely wary when it starts getting to that point and has crashed and burned some of his own relationships out of fear that they’re just gonna snap some pictures and run for the hills.
- You will know when he’s getting to that point because your man is suddenly showing the worse of himself in the days coming up to it. He’s putting you through the gauntlet just to make absolutely sure you’re as committed as he is in this relationship.
- One would assume that he’d take it off to sleep and to a point- yes. He does. Usually. But Marvus isn’t about to risk it with a quad. There’s gonna be a lot of sleeping separately when he’s truly, honestly, sleeping. Naps can be had together as he’s naturally prone to wake up at the slightest hint of a disturbance. But just sleeping together where he’s down and out for the count? Nope. Which brings me to another point.
- Marvus putting you through the gauntlet (which is almost like he’s suddenly flipping quads on you- he isn’t but it feels like it) is also him sleeping over a lot more. He stays up until you fall asleep though. Its his contemplation time which is really just him overthinking lol.
-When he does show you what his bare face looks like you’re gonna notice a sudden flip back to being the dumbass you know and love complete with an apology. He’s gonna go back to being sweet for a while. When you’re settling back in is when he’s gonna pull this off. He asks to spend the night which isn’t unusual anymore and when you go to bed he’ll wait a moment before washing off the paint and joining you. You might not notice until morning when he’s in the bathroom putting it back on again.
- How you react is how well this is gonna go over. Try not to make a big deal out of it as you being calm will keep Marvus calmed. Make no mistake, he looks nonchalant about this but its a huge thing for him and if you act like its a big deal he’s gonna get a little shy about it. Cringing away from it all until he gets used to it. You being calm, however, means that he’s gonna settle into this quicker.
- I kind of derailed for a moment so whoops. Let me rectify that!
-I headcanon clown face ‘paint’ as being a pretty wide variety of things. Like most clowns use greasepaint but there's more than just that. There’s powder-based, regular face paint like the type you’d get at a fair, airbrush styled, and more. It just depends on the troll.
- Marvus does not use greasepaint. He uses either the powder-based stuff which is a lot like human makeup and less lightly to get runny or melt when he’s performing or the airbrushed type. Both are extremely resilient and damn near impossible to smudge. Which is perfect for him even if it means a little extra scrubbing to remove it.
- For clowns putting on the paint is fairly ritualistic. There’s no damn way you’re gonna be allowed to put it on them for them. Though Marvus may be convinced to let you watch and/or hand him the things he needs. Even that much is considered pushing it but Marvus is noticeably more relaxed than others if you manage to get to that point.
- However, if you ever reach up and smooth out a little uneven line? Marvus is probably gonna look at you like you’re his entire world. Which at that point you pretty much are.
- As far as makeup goes its a fairly universal thing in Alternian culture. At least in more modern times. Its like how makeup is on earth though clowns put a more personal take on it.
- He’s not gonna bat an eye at your own makeup if you have it. Hell, he’s gonna wanna tag along to see what you like and where you go to get it. He’s also gonna know what makeup you use the most of and will be keeping it stocked in his hive and also with him on tour on the off chance you happen to drop in. He’s got you in this regard.
- I should mention that if you were to turn this into a two way street, Marvus is gonna get real emotional real quick. Its a culture difference thing. For clowns keeping another’s paint- especially the exact type the other uses for them?- is a way of saying you’re in this forever. Now, Marvus isn’t gonna assume things with this because he knows the other castes don’t have such a heavy emphasis on this shit and assumes its a similar thing with humans. Its gonna lead to a pretty long discussion and probably one of the few times he’s gonna be serious. He may even drop the quirk just to make sure the point gets across.
- If you still insist though? Good luck ever getting rid of him. Or rather, you’re gonna have to hold him back from trying to get at anyone- and I do mean anyone- trying at the quad you share with him. He also extends this same violence to others that think they can jeopardize his quad by flirting and getting handsy with him. Marvus may be the alpha fuckboi amongst the fuckbrothers of the fuckboi fraternity but at this point? He is certainly not as lackadaisical about people coming onto him as he used to be. There is now a hard limit set in place and people better respect it. He’s gonna be a little more violence-prone until everything settles and he feels secure in the relationship again. You might have to bodily get between him and a few people (looking at Zebruh as the only fool stupid enough to push his luck) but the violence is pretty easy to distract from.
#marvus x reader#headcanons#marvus xoloto#friendsim#hiveswap#homestuck#request#asks#thank you so much for the request!!!#please feel free to pop back into my inbox if i got this wrong!#no hard feelings if you do!#I really enjoyed writing this though!

Angst! What if after fiddling with their rocket's stuff for wipes & wipes -& the stars fucking aligning- the human manages to lock in to a transmission of. their family. whether they're being interviewed by the press or what have you, they and their clowns can hear just how utterly /heartbroken/ they are. The human has been missing for months, they're worried sick, no one's gone that far out in space and lived, they miss them, how can they go on?- and the human is just. SOBBING their heart out.
It got a bit long, so it is under the cut! Enjoy!
It had been a while since you ended up on Alternia.
Sweeps according to your friends.
So much had happened and yet you felt nowhere closer to trying to find a way back home.
You discovered aliens, you managed to survive for longer than you thought you would have on their bloodthirsty planet and you even made friends with all types of aliens during your adventures here.
You also found yourself adopted by a caste of murder clowns as one of them.
Just the thought of it on paper was funny.
Then there also came the memories of all your weird adventures in trying to survive and make allies along the way. From surviving Ardata and her lusus to helping Barzum and Baizli to escape the mansion. You’d make millions off of just those stories alone if you published this back home.
But none of it had ever let you forget that ache you felt for your home.
As fun as it was teaching your make-shift family of friends about human food and culture, you sure missed not having to explain everything. To not have to remember another language’s worth of terms and sayings to just get your point across.
Most of all you missed your family. They were probably worried sick about you.
Tonight was another night of working on your rocket and a makeshift transmitter that Mallek helped you build in case you could maybe get in touch with Earth.
Tonight was what you believed to be the day of your annual family reunion. So, you’d been down for the past week...and all of your friends seemed to notice.
You assured them that it was nothing and that you were completely fine.
They had their own issues to sort out
They didn’t need your emotional ones to add to the pile, they weren’t even your moirails.
You had been trying to figure out what a notification meant when you heard someone barge into your small hideout.
Well, multiple someones.
“hey lil sis. how goes The rockeT?”
Chahut was the first to enter. Oh, she must’ve stopped by on the way to mass.
You were also tackled by a 3 small blurs as you caught sight of Marvus coming in behind her.
You greeted the twins and Karako with hugs and a good squeeze.
What were they all doing here?
“u seemed a lil down. so me n ChaCha hear thought ud lik sum compani ufeelme?”
“we found The wrigglers on The way over.”
That was so sweet.
You explained that you were completely fine. Just a little homesick. Besides, it’d be a boring night with you just trying to fix some wiring.
And, as if to thwart your words, your transmitter/receiver started to go crazy.
What? You’d just turned it on a few minutes ago!
The clownlets got off and let you start fiddling with the feed.
Chahut also held the phone while you called Mallek to explain what was going on and how to get whatever message this seemed to be to play.
After some more fiddling around, you figured out it was a video.
A few more minutes later, all 6 of you were huddled around the feed as the machine began to process the video to play.
You went stiff and lost your breathe when the video turned on and you saw your mother.
“whoa. dat ur ancestor?”
“...yes.” Your voice cracked. They knew that humans had a different system with ‘ancestors’.
She was fiddling with the camera and took a deep breathe, seeming to be about to cry like you were.
“(y/n)...it’s been 2 years since you accidentally launched into space...your aunt wants us to make this as a sort of last ditch effort to try and reach you...if...if you’re still out there.”
You tried your hardest to not ugly cry in front of your guests.
You broke when you felt Karako hug your side.
Your father entered the shot and they went on about how they and the rest of the family missed you terribly as well as a few updates on their lives.
They even included smaller videos of your other family members’ last messages after your parents’ message.
You were full out sobbing when everyone congregated together with your parents at the end.
They shot this at the family reunion. Of course they would. It was the only time you all managed to get together.
“We love you, (y/n)! We hope to see you soon.” The feed cut off shortly after that.
You curled up into a sobbing ball and felt the others try and hug you in comfort.
What if you couldn’t go back? What if they thought you were dead?
“I have to go back. I miss them.” You managed to say between sobbing fits.
“PlEaSe DoN’t CrY.” The twins tried to comfort, before you noticed some purple tears starting to drip on you.
All 3 of them were crying. I really only served to make you cry more but try to comfort them while they tried to comfort you.
You almost forgot about Chahut and Marvus until you heard Marvus grunt.
“all ‘m sayin iz dat gramps dont kno (y/n) lik dat.”
“we can sTill ask. he didn’t kill her aT church when she firsT came.”
“What?”
Chahut ends up explaining that they may have a way to at the very least send a message back without Her Imperial Condesce or her Heiress knowing.
Marvus cuts in to explain that while GHB may have a means of doing so, he may not be able to or want to help out what he may see as a rando rustie.
Both assure you that no matter what though, they would help you out in getting home.
You’re extremely glad you managed to befriend them.

For Marvus and Lanque: 9 and 15
Anon, you knew what you were here for.
Marvus
9. Humiliating Memories
Bold of you to assume Marvus Xoloto is physically capable of feeling shame.
But seriously, I don't think that he really has a lot of public embarrassment with how tight he keeps his image and how practiced things are. What he does have, is feeling embarrassed about how he won slam or get culled. I see him as having won it when he was in his early teens and genuinely getting nervous and practicing his preformances and not quite getting it at first when he heard some people backstage talking about how he was going to win. I don't know that he ever thought more deeply about who won or how they won or how they were all clowns. Maybe young him just thought that clowns had a leg up in general with how they grew up, so finding out he was going to win because he was purple and that he would have to work harder to lose than win just kinda left him with a bitter taste in his mouth. He had genuine feelings about something that was fake from the start and he definitely feels some sort of way about not recognizing it sooner.
15. What it takes to make them cry
Oh man, so I really don't see him as much of a crier. If something bad enough to warrant tears were to happen, he just wouldn't. I'm sorry.
Maybe there is a moment of sorrow, but it is gone as soon as it hits because image is everything and he will not show something having got to him at that level. He just won't. Not to say that it doesn't impact him. The worse it is, the more he works to move past it without addressing it by doing more work, getting into other things that require his focus so he wouldn't have time to get into that even if he wanted to. Which he doesn't.
Lanque
9. Humiliating memories
While I'm sure troll Catholic school provided Lanque with plenty of his greatest hits, I think that he would be pretty embarrassed that he ever "fell" for any of it in the first place. The idea of this safe, nurturing place where trolls are tasked with continuing their species. You know, the same place where they cull grubs for any number of reasons and it doesn't feel all that safe considering drones will also cull you for getting slightly out of line or being seen outside the caverns.
Lanque at one point had a more romanticized view of the world and relationships, but him being jade meant that all of his relationships would be pretty transient considering no one really sees much of a point in trying any sort of long term relationship with one since it is basically pointless with how they get cloistered and can't contribute to the slurry. So there was this slap in the face as to how superficial his relationships with non jades were seen. And then hoping that it would be different with another jade and that they would get it.
That didn't exactly work either and especially stung. He felt like a moron for even having hoped it would.
15. What it takes to make them cry
Lanque is an emotional person. Granted, most of the emotions are not particularly pleasant and he has developed his own way of keeping things neat and under wraps. But it is not a perfect system and I think he has some self awareness regarding that with how he doesn't really do close romantic relationships. Between his own previous baggage and how shitty he can be in relationships, he somewhat comes into things with the knowledge it will end and he very much turns it into a self-fulfilling prophecy. It would be either way, but he really speeds it up because of his own preconceptions. So if someone where to slip past that or having things last longer that usual to the point where he might reconsider his views only for something to happen... yeah. He wouldn't be having a good time and might be inclined to regain some feeling of control and have his own self-destructive episode after. It helps with nothing, but it is on his terms and that's what counts.
#ana talks#Haha would it be funny if these guys were embarrassed by their idealism dying in different ways?#Just a thot.#I see so many of these fucks as too emotionally constipated to cry I'm sorry#Lanque is full of resentment grief and rage at the life he has and the lives he never will and it fuels me

CLASSPECTING TIME
You have no idea how fucking long this took. Also I’m willing to like hear ideas about this but as these are my personal headcanons don’t be like….weird about it ahfdksafd classes are FAKE AF and we are all just guessing bitches out here.
Ardata Carmia: Maid of Doom. A Maid is typically understood as “one who creates [aspect]/creates though [aspect]” for the benefit of others. The Doom aspect represents death, suffering, misery and destruction, something Ardata quite literally serves up on a silver platter for her subscribers. She creates (relatively) low stakes of misery for her subscribers to watch and enjoy, as well as to feed her lusus’ hunger for blood. Despite the apparent selfish motivations, its clear that Ardata doesn’t really enjoy what she does. At least, not for its own sake. Its a means to fulfill the role she believes society demands of her, even if filling it makes her actively miserable and very, very lonely.
Diemen Xicasi: Page of Hope. A page is typically understood as one who “provides [aspect]/provides through [aspect]” for themselves. While his meal of choice may be some savory meat products, Diemen’s real bread and butter is his unwavering optimism. Not to say he’s always looking on the bright side, merely that he allows the miserable realities of being a homeless rustblood on Alternia to wash off his back. Like other pages that have proceeded him (Tavros Nitram and Jake English), Diemen has been noted to have an effect on people that makes them want to help him, without any apparent psiionic tricks to force it out of them. Furthermore, when he really wishes for something (and its usually hot dogs), well, things have a way of working out in his favor, no matter the twists and turns it takes to get there.
Amisia Erdehn: Heir of Mind. I’m gonna be honest, Amisia was tricky. Mind doesn’t on first glance seem like a natural fit for her. However, while there’s a variety of definitions for what an Heir does, I prefer the description of the Heir as someone who strives (or succeeds) to wholly embody their aspect. As such, Amisia is the pure embodiment of both Mind’s decisive problem solving and single-minded logical framework. Need paints? Well, blood is multicolored. Actual creation is difficult, yes, but when it comes to getting the right materials, well, there’s no one more driven and no one less deterred by mere sentiment. This isn’t to say she’s emotionless, merely that emotions are often an obstruction to her true potential, rather than an aid.
Cirava Hermod: Prince of Hope. Awful dark class for such a chill motherfucker, but like most things about Cirava, it makes far, far more sense in context. Hope is about convictions, about right and wrong, about doing what your internal code compels you towards. And, there was a time when Cirava felt like this. They would constantly get into fights on Chittr with highbloods, despite knowing it was risky, because they felt it was wrong to take credit for their work. However, the Prince is ultimately one who bring about destruction through/destruction of their aspect. Cirava certainly brings about destruction in a physical sense: they destroy their eye in order to prevent injustice. Likewise, they take the time to try and destroy their own connections to the hopeful aspect, attempting to kill off their morals and content themselves with keeping their head down and quietly streaming.
Skylla Koriga: Knight of Time. While Time is perhaps the aspect most bound up in the mechanics of Sburb/Sgrub, its ultimately defined by a determination to triumph despite the odds. In Skylla’s case, like Dave Strider, that desire is tempered by a sense that what she does should be for the sake of others. Skylla is one of the most selfless trolls we encounter, expressing generosity and kindness to a stranger even at her own personal costs and even expressing confusion when others (like Konyyl) are not so kind. Skylla, while she may slip into despair when the situation is pulled beyond her control, ultimately refuses to take anything lying down that she can fight against.
Bronya Ursama: Sylph of Breath. The typical verb applied to a Sylph is “one who heals through/heals their aspect” for the sake of others. In general, I prefer the verb “restores”, as it has a broader application. However, in Bronya’s case, that healing is for the most part literal. Breath is the aspect of freedom and individuality, which seems an odd choice for the rules-oriented Bronya. However, by looking at the people in her life it begins to snap into greater clarity. Bronya may restrain herself, but her presence provides freedom to so many characters: she gives the reject wrigglers a chance at new life even when the culling system would condemn them to death. The other jades are allowed the freedom to explore themselves and the world around them because, on some level, they know Bronya will protect them from consequences as much as she can. Bronya does not serve freedom or necessarily provide it wholecloth, but she restores it to others who would have it taken from them otherwise.
Tagora Gorjek: Thief of Space. Space is hard. Like time, its an aspect very bound up in the mechanics of Sburb. How Kanaya describes it, as concerned with propagation, didn’t seem to have much to do with a guy who doesn’t seem concerned with much more than the propagation of his own wealth. This is part of why Thief felt natural for Tagora: “one who steals/steals through their aspect” for themselves. However, as we’ve seen from Meenah and Vriska, while the motives of a Thief may often be selfish, it doesn’t mean that they are necessarily harmful to the party. The Thief will take the most direct path to getting what they want, but if what they want is the good of the party, then they make powerful allies. Space heroes, like Tagora, are creative and very aware of the way they go through the world. Tagora is environmentally aware, which is part of what makes him an effective legislacerator (and an effective con artist).
Vikare Ratite: Mage of Mind. The Mage, like the Seer, is bound up in knowledge about their aspect. However, they are often cursed by either an excess of or severe shortage of their aspect. Vikare, arguably, suffers from both an excess AND a shortage of Mind. On the one hand, atmospheric flight a logical first step before interstellar flight, and the fact that Alternia didn’t take that step is in fact, pretty fucking wild if you consider it. Vikare suffers by being (apparently) the only one aware of this level of absurdity. However, in other respects, Vikare is cursed by a lack of Mind when it comes to decisive action. Rather than actively pursuing his desires, he hides them behind an apparent embrace of his true role, and eventually has to have flight “forced” on him for him to truly enjoy it.
Polypa Goezee: Rogue of Breath. Polypa here can be seen to be stealing her aspect in two regards. One, she is literally stealing “breath”, or life (not to be confused with Life GODS ASPECTS ARE HARD) from her targets. Two, she is in some sense stealing their movement and independence, in particular from highbloods, who are not used to the fear of death impeding their choices in the way it impedes the lowblood. However, unlike the Thief, Polypa steals for the sake of others, whether it be working as a hired killer, getting vengeance for her lost lusus, or protecting her friends from the uncomfortable truths that would force them to act against their true wishes (as with Tegiri).
Zebruh Codakk: Heir of Doom. One who invites misery and despair wherever they go. Definitely sounds like how it feels when Zebruh walks in a room. Jokes aside, Zebruh is drawn to situations of misery and destruction (e.g., his attraction towards lowbloods) out of some latent sense that he can exploit it. If the Heir is someone who reaps the benefits of their aspect, then Zebruh certainly fits the bill. Likewise, the world is affected when the Heir is finally allowed to “Become” their aspect. Easily one of the endings most literal about it being a “doomed” timeline is Marvus’ bad ending; notably, its also the only ending where Zebruh dies. When Zebruh finally fulfills the promise of doom, the entire timeline goes down with him. That is very possibly some powerful godtier commentary.
Elwurd: Witch of Hope. One who changes their aspect/changes through their aspect. Elwurd doesn’t believe in shit if she doesn’t want to, and if she wants to believe something then damn it if she won’t make it true. She commits herself consistently to relationships that she knows are a bad idea under the presumption that she can change them. You can’t ever properly convince her that she’s not hung up on her relationship with Bronya. In the end, the only one who can change Elwurd is Elwurd.
Kuprum Maxlol: Knight of Hope. optimistic Duelist has a good video already on the topic and while I disagree with their classpecting for Folkyl ultimately I don’t really feel the need to add much onto it. Suffice to say, Kuprum defies fate for another person. Rather than let voidrot run its course, Kuprum volunteers himself as a battery for his moirail. While its perhaps a short sighted plan, its one that stems wholly from Kuprum’s belief in his ability to make a difference, if not for society at large, at least for one person.
Folykl Darane: Seer of Void. One who is wholly in sync with their aspect, in full understanding of it. Folykl is entirely aligned with the nothingness and emptiness associated with Void, being quite literally denied vision, power, and even the ability to ambulate on her own. Likewise, though, she has a clarity of vision in the metaphorical sense. She accurately assesses both Kuprum’s feelings towards Trizza and Trizza’s worthiness of those feelings, emblematic of Void’s disdain for a comfortable lie. However, true to the passive nature of her class, while she often chastises Kuprum for his feelings she isn’t ultimately willing to do more than bicker about it.
Remele Namaaq: Page of Space. Initially I thought we might end up with two Thieves of Space, but what important to note is that whle Remele does steal artwork, theft isn’t necessarily her true nature. At her core, she’s an artist that has been forced to become cynical because of the society she lives in. Sburb roles aren’t just meant to embody you. Often they’re meant to challenge you. As such, her more derivative works can be seen less as the final fulfillment of her role and more the beta stage of her coming into her aspect. While it may not show in her artwork yet, Remele demonstrates a great potential for on the spot creative thinking that could potentially be bolstered into a powerful force in its own right. Likewise, like Diemen she demonstrates the Page’s intuitive ability to get people to aid her in her quest, regardless of whether or not its in their own best interests
Konyyl Okimaw: Prince of Light (because gendered classes are FAKE NEWS). One who destroys/destroys through their aspect. Light is associated with both fortune and knowledge, and Konyyl can be seen destroying (and destroying through) both. Her matesprit, Azdaja, is the Mind aspect: he supplies knowledge to Konyyl, who in turn uses that knowledge to destroy the lives of others. Likewise, she’s heavily resistant to doing the thinking for herself, seeming to intuitively sense its not her role. She’s also a bit on the unlucky side (I mean, what are the odds of an adult troll being there at that exact drop off point) but can destroy the luck of others. By killing them. Worst luck ever. Also she’d look cute in the puffy pants don’t tell me otherwise.
Tyzias Entykk: Page of Blood (damn there’s a lot of pages in here its almost like most of these characters have yet to come to their true potential or something). While its not always the case (Jake English being a notable exception, to my mind), Pages may often start the game with a deficit of their aspect. Tyzias has a deficit of friendships. She mentions she doesn’t have time for any quadrant but her matesprit, who is arguably the only troll on Alternia more overworked than she is. Beyond that, her social circle is restricted to people she meets in class. Despite this, Tyzias has a unique capacity to reach out to other people, which, once tapped into her, makes her a force to reckon with, especially so far as the empire is concerned.
Chixie Roixmr: Witch of Mind. GODS Chixie was so hard. However, what ultimately unlocked it for me was the rap battle. A witch is one who manipulates/manipulates through their aspect. Chixie, for as sweet as she is, is a pretty effective manipulator. She keeps Zebruh on the hook without getting forced into a quadrant with him, she manages to sway the crowd into her favor (despite the fact that no one in their right mind should be siding with a bronzeblood in a highblood owned club), she even manages to get the Reader to act in her favor on certain occasions. She does this through clear, decisive action, and through careful combinations of absorbed information, all of which come to a head in the rap battle. Despite potentially risking everything she’s worked to build, she forces herself onto that stage and, under pressure, synthesizes everything she knows about the band from social media and her own encounters with them into some pretty sick lyrics.
Azdaja Knelax: Thief of Mind. Azdaja, as previously mentioned, is the information half of Konyyl’s duo. Utilizing powerful psiionics, a quick grasp of strategy, and a willingness to do whatever it takes (all of which can be understood as part of the Mind aspect), Azdaja manipulates scenarios into ones that will directly benefit him. Often, he quite garners literal monetary gain, but equally as powerful for him is the added notoriety his actions gain him.
Chahut Maenad: Knight of Hope. No title more fitting for a defender of the faith. Chahut has strong convictions that run to the core of her being, something vital to a Hope player. However, while her convictions may render her single minded, they do not necessarily render her selfless. When the player does not antagonize her morals Chahut seems happy to benefit them (although most players would probably not view being a sacrifice as a benefit). She is happy to learn at the feet of people who have earned her respect, and defend those like Amisia who she considers worth protecting, all of which render her an apt candidate for the Knight category.
Zebede Tongva: Heir of Light. One who embodies their aspect, often perhaps to the point of excess. Zebede is many things, but he is certainly knowledgeable, in particular about his interests. At times, that interest can be cute, but at other times it can lead him towards creepy and possessive behavior. He knows everything about Cirava, to the point that he feels comfortable posting fanfiction about their life. Likewise, he displays frustration and anger when he is not allowed knowledge (or, in a meta sense, is denied union with his aspect), as in hs bad end when the Reader implies they are talking to other people while at Zebede’s house. Zebede, though his method of expression isn’t the healthiest, at his purest form is really just curious about the lives of the people he watches, and allows that curiosity to overcome him.
Tegiri Kalbur: Rogue of Void. If Tegiri embodies anything to me, its how much the temperament of a person affects their expression of their classpect. On first glance he and Roxy Lalonde have nothing in common. However, like Roxy, Tegiri has the ability to “steal” nothingness by replacing it with something else. He replaces it with order, imposing laws whether otherwise no sane troll would think to enforce them. By doing so, he’s not only stealing away the chaos associated with the Void, but also the sense of meaninglessness he might otherwise succumb to if he ceased to believe in Alternian law (much like a few other teals I could mention). Also like Roxy, Tegiri seems troubled by the sense that he may be irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, and becomes determined to impress his status as a hero of the blade upon us as quickly as possible.
Mallek Adalov: Witch of Time. Ok this one’s a little weird, but hear me out: a Witch, inherently, is about a refusal to accept your aspect as it is. Mallek demonstrates an understanding of the lacking nature of Time. With his Rites of Maturation perigrees away, he has a hard time coming to terms with how little time he has to do everything he wants to do. This might imply a Mage or a Seer, but what strikes me is not that Mallek wants to understand time, but that he is frustrated with his inability to do anything about it. We aren’t really told what he does after his conversation with the reader, but it can perhaps be assumed that, inspired by their words, he is doing what he has to to give himself the time he needed. Were an sgrub session to take place, he would be given the literal chance to do just that.
Lynera Skalbi: Maid of Rage. Again, whipping through an unusual class combo. The Maid is one who creates their aspect, for the benefit of others. Rage is not just about anger (although Lynera certainly has that in spades), but about convictions and truth. Lynera creates her truth and beliefs, and makes them in alignment to the people that matter to her. When she understands that keeping under the radar of Alternian society is important to Bronya, she becomes the bad cop needed to enforce those convictions. When she understands her making other friends is important to the Reader (and to Bronya), she immediately latches onto them as her nearest and dearest friendship. Ultimately we never see Lynera at a healthy place with her aspect, but she’s a dedicated soldier, ready to evangelize (or, create convictions) on behalf of the people in her life to matter to her.
Galekh Xigisi: Seer of Blood. The Seer is of course, associated with understanding. However, its important that unlike the Mage, one who already understands and suffers from it, the Seer is rather one who invites understanding. They may have a large knowledge base already as regards their aspect (a la Terezi with Mind) but are constantly on the hunt for more to the benefit of their party. Galekh, while he can be pompous and uptight, at his very core wants to understand people, and the people who matter to those he cares about especially. He is one of the few trolls to approach us with the explicit intent of forming a relationship (and deepening an existing one with Tagora). That wordiness and sense of self-righteousness likewise aligns him with our other known Seer of Blood, Kankri Vantas, although Galekh has arguably gotten more of a chance to mature than Kankri got.
Tirona Kasund: Thief of Heart. Tirona seeks to override the convictions, and by extension the “soul”, of others, whether by force or by persuasion. Her memeaganda is one branch of this, ingratiating the Heiress to people in a way that will make them forget the various ways in she has harmed her. Likewise, she goes rooting through the offices of their friends to dig up details about their personal opinions and politics in order to expose them for her own gain. Heart Players really can’t catch a break outside of Boldir huh. Speaking of…
Boldir Lamati: Muse of Heart. Unusual, I know, but then, she’s an unusual lady. Not much is known about the muse class, given that our only Muse is Calliope. Typically, the verb that I would assign to the Muse is “inspires” or “unifies”, as a contrast to the Lord’s “command” or “dominates”. Boldir’s strong unity of the self would likely explain how she demonstrates an uncanny awareness over the strange time activities. She is, arguably, on the verge of becoming her ultimate self. Likewise, simply by being around her the reader becomes deeply aware of their alternate selves. However, unlikely Dirk’s existential dread in the face of his splinters, Boldir inspires that peace and independence unique to the Muse class which allows her to transcend the division of self so often toxic to Heart Players.
Stelsa Sezyat: Knight of Blood. Together with Galekh, they’re two halves of a whole Signless kin. Knights defend their aspect and defend through their aspect. In the case of relationships, Stelsa does both. She is a loyal and caring friend, always on call for both the Reader and her matesprit Tyzias even when she disagrees with their actions. Likewise, Stelsa’s strongest asset, in addition to her boundless energy and organizational talent, is her capacity for networking. More so than perhaps any other troll, Stelsa understands that the key to victory sometimes isn’t what you can do, but who you know. In the event she goes godtier, though, the first thing she’s doing is ditching the hood. Not subjecting her hair to that, no sir.
Marsti Houtek: Heir of Void (side note, Inherit Nothing by phemieC may have been written for Equius but it is a jam and a half and kind of snaps this class into greater perspective for me). Like every troll on Alternia, Marsti has been forced most of her life to confront her limited options under the hemocaste system. True to her nature as a Void player, she seemed to have accepted her apparent irrelevance in the grand scheme of thing. As an heir, she embodies not only this irrelevance, but the enigma around it. We’re never truly given an insight into how Marsti actually would want her life to go. She seems resistant to any attempts to force her into some kind of emotional arc. Rather, she frames her actions in terms of simple “this is what I do” statements. Marsti is content with her own nothingness, and is frustrated by people who cannot accept that about her.
Karako Pierot: I uh…..really like the Lord of Mind theory. There are a lot of mind players in Hiveswap, but Karako, to me, embodies the karma aspect of Mind more clearly than any that proceed him. He either gets justice against his attackers, or, should he be killed, the reader feels compelled to enact that justice on others. Karako at once breaks the rules of his aspect (his illogical speaking patterns, his afterlife return to the Dark Carnival, the embodiment of whimsy and mystery) while commanding it through his will and the forces surrounding him.
Charun Krojib: Sylph of Rage. If Lynera embodies the part of Rage that deals with convictions, then Charun embodies the more anarchic, confusing parts of the Aspect. However, they do not seem to use it for destructive purposes, but deconstructive. Charun meets the player at a point when they are feeling low and burnt out and angry. However subtextually, Doc Scratch’s imposition over their narrative is starting to chafe at them a bit. Charun utilizes that anger and that confusion into a tool for healing via their art. They encourage the Reader to make something. Doesn’t matter what: if it turns out crap that it can just be stripped down and made again. And working with those nebulous guidelines, the Reader is able to process their frustration into art. Art that has no set meaning, but who’s lack of stakes and general confusion bring healing to the reader. Thus, Charun embodies the Sylph’s restorative role.
Wanshi Adyata: Seer of Doom. Seers are often seen as already understanding their aspect in some respect, but the role of Seer is one who is perpetually learning and understanding more about their aspect. Notably, Rose and Terezi are both still having revelations about the nature of their aspects and abilities even as late as Act 6, where most of the other players have broadly figured out their own as far as they need to. Wanshi has demonstrated a proclivity towards knowledge and understanding, being a voracious reader. However, we as the Reader are there with her as she takes her first steps into her aspect. Though no stranger to the suffering of Alternia, we see her experience death in the most direct way she has at that point in her life, and struggle to comprehend it. Depending on how Hiveswap goes, as she grows older she may be forced to reckon with this role, and part of her maturation will be whether she buckles under the negativity of doom, or successfully incorporates it into her worldview, allowing it to inform her without sinking her.
Fozzer Velyes: Bard of Heart. Man, heartbound derse players just canNOT catch a break….criminal. In any case, the heart has to do with the self, the soul, and the identity. The Bard is not someone who destroys, but someone who invites destruction of (or destruction through) their aspect. Notably, bards often demonstrate avoidant personalities, often refusing to directly confront the things that scare them (as Fozzer with the ghosts), and are prone to talking big game but falling victim to minor hitches in their plans (as the Reader notes contrasting his cowardly reactions with his revolutionary spiel). Fozzer’s self is in fact destroyed over the course of his route, and rewritten by forces beyond his control. Its possible he will continue to enact this role on others. If we’ve seen anything from homestuck, its that bards are the ones to watch out for.
Marvus Xoloto: Seer of Time. Alright, so like I said, I’m like 99% sure we’re do for some kind of twist with Marvus. However, the Caprist sign he’s been previously associated with is timebound, and based on his bad end especially I’d say that’s a good fit. The Seer is the role I chose because Marvus doesn’t really seem to exert any particular control over his aspect, nor does he feel bound to serve it (actively defying it, in fact). Rather, he demonstrates a more in-depth of the machinations of paradox space and “canon” than any character prior, arguably even more than Dirk. Marvus may not successfully wrest control of the narrative, but he provides further insight into the function of doomed timelines, as well as some possible hints as to how paradox space’s pull can be resisted by means other than the retcon juju.
Daraya Jonjet: Rogue of Hope. Something notable about rogues is that in their immature stages: a lot of them seem to initially covet their opposite aspect. Roxy, Rogue of Void, struggled with a desire for recognition from others (Light). Rufioh, Rogue of Breath, tries desperately to forge relationships that ultimately he isn’t ready to live out (Blood). Likewise, Daraya seems desperate to perform the anarchic and embittered Rage aspect. Her bad ending is her giving herself fully to these bitter teen “burn it all down” impulses. However, that’s not ultimately how she’s happiest. She is at her best when she learns to redistribute Hope to other people. Notably she’s the first person we make legitimate effort to connect with Tyzias’ revolutionary actions. Tyzias is a powerhouse in her own right, true, but she’s one person, and though her Blood aspect gives the the ability to connect to other people, as we’ve seen she’s not the best at rallying the troops (given that her attempts at a pep talk with Daraya fall flat with the Reader not there to help). Daraya, as she grows into her role and partners more with Tyzias, may be able to help with that, stealing the Hope so long denied alternian trolls and giving it back to the people with her rebellious actions. One things for sure: the two are stronger together than they are apart.
Nikhee Moolah: Knight of Rage. She weaponizes anger into her powerful arsenal, but arguably does do it for the benefit of others. In her good ending she strengthens the reader to their utmost, actually reaping muscular benefits as a result. Likewise, her fights are (arguably) a place of catharsis for Alternian trolls and may draw in more outsiders (given the only non-clown purple we have ever seen is….there PLEASE SOMEONE EXPLAIN THIS NOT CLOWN TO ME WHAT’S THEIR STORY). That anger becomes just as powerful a tool turned against the Reader as it is for the Reader, but ultimately Nikhee seems to do what she does for the good of her audience.
Lanque Bombyx: Thief of Life. Insert mandatory vampire joke here, but its not far off from how Lanque goes about his day to day. Life isn’t just about literally being alive, its also associated with growth, betterment, and positivity. We see Lanque take these things, especially from Lynera. While the amount of growth Lynera really demonstrated is VERY debatable, its hard to argue that Lanque immediately shut down the first attempt at reaching out to someone romantically that Lynera has done for anyone but Bronya, immediately turning it into an opportunity to put the moves on someone else. This may nudge him into the Prince class, but I think its more accurate to assert that Lanque isn’t destroying his aspect, necessarily, as he certainly seems to benefit from it. Instead, he’s simply ensuring that no one else gets it. Lanque is childish in temperament, and may assume that other people are as slow to mature as he is. Likewise he displays the Thief’s attitude that “I should get what I want if I’m smart enough and strong enough to take it” that we see with both Meenah and Vriska. Like both of those characters, he’s not necessarily doomed to evil behavior, merely that its more realistic to hope that he’ll start to see the good of the party as beneficial to him as well, rather than wish he’d just lose his self-interested ways (as Bronya does).
Barzum and Baizli Soleil: the fact that these two embody two different aspects (Breath and Doom respectively) seems to imply that there is at least some difference between the two twins, but whatever it is is hard to riddle out, given that they effectively switch personalities on a whim. As such, its possible to see Breath and Doom as merely two potentials towards which they could drift, either becoming more and more individuated as they embrace their Breath aspect or more and more singular as they embrace Doom. As such, I would probably assign them both the page role, as they are both untapped potential yet to mature enough to really embody anything but chaos.

I hope you’re ready for this long response because I’m so glad you asked. I’ve been itching to write about this boy and now you’ve given me an excuse to spill my thoughts. Sorry in advance for the volume of stuff I have to say.
Some general differences:
-TALL. I’m talkin’ Chahut-sized. Also, decently buff— not bodybuilder-level or anything, but definitely has some noticeable muscle. Could pick you up with one arm, no problem. (comparatively, my cerulean Mal headcanon is around 5’5” and about average build)
-Still has the same chill attitude as Mal, but a little faster to lose his cool when something bugs him.
-Even more flirty than normal Mal. It comes off as quite intimidating given his stature and his big ol’ teeth, though.
-Has a deeper, more gravelly voice than cerulean Mal.
-His long fang is gold.
-17 piercings total.
-His weapons of choice are spiked knuckle dusters.
-For the most part, really dislikes faygo– it ruins his mental clarity, which makes him anxious.
Some deeper ideas which I’ve written some analysis for:
-He has slightly stronger rebel beliefs than Cerulean Mal.
-Despite this, fears what would happen to trollkind if a rebellion were to rise up (mass extinction courtesy of the Condesce’s lusus)
-The combination of these things leaves him in a state of anxiety and indecision about the right thing to do. Doesn’t join the rebellion. Still rescues a lot of lower-blooded trolls from danger, though, and gets attached to them as soon as he starts getting to know them.
-Fiercely protective of his friends; not afraid to kill for them.
-Emotionally volatile; little things tend to cause big reactions in him (could really benefit from a moirail to give him a good shooshpap when he gets riled up)
I’ve written a bit of an essay explaining the thoughts behind these... It’s 3 AM and this is total stream of consciousness stuff so it’s not totally organized, but it’ll give you some insight to my thought process about his character if you’re interested in that kinda thing. Analysis under the cut!
I see him as different in a lot of ways, to be honest. When I do bloodswaps I really like to lean into their new caste and think about how growing up with those expectations and that culture would change the character. The differences in the culture of the purple caste are pretty drastic as compared to the others, so my purple Mallek is also pretty dissimilar from his cerulean self.
For one, he has a lot of pressure put upon him to do things he feels are unjust. As we know, Mallek doesn’t approve of the subjugation of lower blood castes. As a cerulean, he feels that he has neither the power or the energy to do anything about these injustices. It’s likely different as a purpleblood, though.
Interestingly, it’s implied here that chucklevoodoos may hold a certain power over all lowbloods– planting fears within their minds, amplifying their fears through dreams, etc. It’s unclear whether this is only “lowbloods” in a strict sense (typically those gold and under), or if it simply means “those lower than purples”. For my purposes, I’ll assume that they hold effects over all blood castes beneath purples.
If we assume this is true, it’s certainly possible that this chucklevoodoo influence is one of the things holding our beloved cerulean Mallek back from feeling that he has the power to change Alternia. Purple Mallek would be without this influence. Being in the purpleblood culture, he’s also forced to see a lot of violence firsthand that could more easily be avoided as a cerulean, probably giving him stronger beliefs in the injustice of the system. Considering these fact combined with the power that comes with being a purpleblood, I feel that he would grow up with stronger beliefs in rebellion.
However, there is a problem with this idea. While purplebloods are physically and psychically powerful as all hell, this leads them to be kept on a very tight leash by the seadwellers. In Marvus’ route (who, by the way, is the same dreamer+aspect combo as Mallek, assuming the sign we’ve seen associated with Marv is actually his sign. This may not be relevant, but it’s pretty interesting to think about…), he says, “…the only reason we dont ri$$$e up and rip the fins of their slimy lil faces iz an enternitys of religious persecution and culturally immutable precedent..” Though Marvus acknowledges these influences, it just clarifies the undeniable power over purplebloods that keeps them from rebelling against their controllers. Homestuck proper states that the Condesce controls the purplebloods with the threat of her lusus’ ability to exterminate millions.
It’s because of these two opposing ideas that I see purple Mallek as a very conflicted individual. He knows he has the physical and psychic strength which would give him leverage against the empire, but he is haunted by the thoughts that his resistance could invoke the wrath of the Condesce– which could end in her lusus invoking a mass killing. He knows that his ideas, trying to change Alternia for the better, could end up with mass death instead, and this keeps him from acting against the empire outright. He really feels the pressure the closer it comes to his departure from Alternia, though. Would rather do just about anything than become a subjuggulator— he can’t stomach the idea of killing on that scale.
He does, though, have his own ways of rebellion. These are pretty typical for him, going off what we’ve seen of his character so far– he does what he feels is right, helping out smaller and weaker trolls (invited Diemen to live with him, makes Tirona feel better about her strengths when she’s afraid her weakness and small stature could get her culled). He tends to rescue a lot of lowbloods from dangerous situations; though it’s mostly friends and friends of friends– it stresses him out to think about saving every lowblood possible.
His murderous impulses can come out when he is angry, but this is most frequently directed at perpetrators of injustice, and he avoids killing for the most part. I say for the most part, because I don’t see purple Mal as exceptionally emotionally stable. Cerulean Mallek already reacts very emotionally to what’s going on around him. Think about how enthusiastic and energetic he is when reader chooses to tell him they’re an advanced robot, versus how despondent he is when they choose to admit they were lying. Also, consider his sudden anger when he believes reader has led the drones to him (understandable, but still a dramatic shift from his previous demeanor). Cerulean Mallek never shows any intention towards hurting the reader, even when angry with them, but purplebloods have a tendency towards the… violent. My purple Mal’s emotions are made even more volatile because of his internal conflicts previously discussed. I think purple Mallek would have a great deal of control over murderous impulses, but it’s possible they could get the better of him if he’s particularly angry. I could picture him tearing apart someone who is about to hurt one of his friends, for sure.
Anyways, that’s all the analysis I have the energy for right now (and you’re probably sick of reading my wall of text) , but I might right some more about him later if I think of stuff to add! Feel free to request more information if you want; I like to write about him (in case you couldn’t tell…).

Troll Call/Hiveswap Headcanon Voices because fuck you, you don’t control my cringiness, and also act 2 is coming up.
OTS means Open To Suggestions.
Xefros: Zach Callison as Steven Universe. I mean come ON, people. Yes, Justin Roiland can do his Morty thing if you want, but let’s not kid ourselves here, Zach can sound equally apologetic and timid and more pleasant to the ears.
Dammek: We’ve yet to meet him, but I’m putting Steven Yeun as a provisional first choice.
Trizza: Guys, we need to stop making every water alien girl Nicki Minaj. We need a valley girl accent for this voice. Maybe whoever voices Weiss from RWBY? One of the flower scouts from Camp Camp? Mermista, but happier? This one is open to suggestions until we get more insight into her character.
Tyzias: Ok I also have to talk about Daraya. See the thing is, although it would be a great pun, I think Daria’s voice should go to Tyzias. While Daria is also a jaded teen with a green jacket she is a lot more composed than Daraya and sounds a lot more mature and tired. So she just needs to slur the w and m sounds.
Zebede: Look guys, I get that we all think Whinnie the Pooh when we see him, but let’s bee more realistic. The guy who voices Mikey in Rise of the TMNT? We could use that childlike enthusiasm.
Mallek: There are so many options for him. First of course is Rami Malek, but MAYBE if Jeremy Shada makes his voice more chill we’ll have something going on here. Steven Yeun can also try out, but I’m gonna need him to bring something a little different from his Keith voice. Then again, we always have Childish Gambino and his Marshal Lee voice, and he could probably do a rap out of Mallek’s theme song.
Daraya: Probably Mermista, but with more emotional range. OTS.
Barzum & Bazlil: If possible I’d prefer two voice actors instead of one doing double duty. OTS.
Nikhee: Ok, so we got 3 buff over the top girls who all could be voiced by the same person, you know who I’m taking about. But, compromises need to be made, else we would be overworking a single voice actress and soil the variety in this completely fictional casting. So I’ll have Lani Minella pick up the slack here.
Chahut: I wonder if Kimberly Brooks can make a high, “very slow, methodical genteel louisiana accent” Jasper and make it sound different enough from regular Jasper so she can also do Konyll.
Diemen: There’s and in between Ron Stoppable, Beast Boy, and Lego Robin that we need to get to for his character. I’m leaving it up to you to chose. OTS.
Skylla: Applejack. Yeah, obvious choice, technically any woman with southern accent works, yadda yadda, but I like applejack because she sounds particularly mature to me, and Skylla is in her very late teens.
Folykl: Michaela Dietz aka. Amethyst.
Kuprum: Kuprum may not be blue or a remake character, but Ben Schwartz has kinda already settled his reputation as the meme voice actor, so he might as well try out with 4chan humor.
Charun: If anyone knows a nonbinary v.a. that can do this sort of slow dialogue and fit the character I’m all ears. OTS.
Amisia: I may need a bit more insight into her reel, but for the moment Merit Leighton, the voice of Frosta from She-ra and Queen Aanya from The Dragon Prince.
Polypa: Ashly Burch.
Tegiri: He probably sounds like what Mamoru Miyano would sound like if he could speak proper english. Since that’s not gonna happen tho, I’m provisionally putting Todd Haberkorn in charge, he’ll probably figure something out.
Tirona: Any gremlin sounding little girl can work, but I’m gonna go with Fink from OK KO because they have the same shit eating grin.
Lynera: Does anyone know if there’s a v.a. that can imitate Taylor Swift but also pull off this kind of over the top performance while managing to lower it down for the more nuanced scenes? Does anyone know if Taylor Swift can voice act? OTS.
Elwurd: You know I used to headcanon Vriska as Olivia Olson, but I always wondered if she would be able to make the high pitch screeches Vriska makes when she gets frustrated. Elwurd however, she could do asleep.
Ghalek: There’s only 2 valid options for this guy: Wheatley and whoever voices Iida in the bnha dub. Ultimately tho, I’d choose the first because Stephen Merchant has prooved he can talk fast, he just needs to tone the emotion down a little.
Vikare: This one is OTS, but if you suggest whoever you headcanon as Jake English you’re out. Please, expand your imagination, people.
Boldir: Charlene Yi. She has managed to prove she has some range between voicing all the Rubies in su and Chloe in wbb, it should be interesting to hear her in a more, let’s say, complex role, and her voice is naturally soft and low. I have no idea who is this mystery squirrel or how they sound like.
Cirava: Pidge from vld, but you know, high.
Tagora: Please don’t do the lazy suggestion of the late Stefan Karl Stefansson (RIP). We need to put our minds together to find someone who can do this slimy bastard justice. OTS.
Ardata: I’m gonna trust Kari Wahlgren has enough range to make an ojou-sama laugh.
Marvus: Oof, this is going to be a hard one. This role is very specific, who do we know that can do sexy and manipulative but also extremely fuckboy-ish himbo who is also smarter than everyone else? Imagine telling someone who hasn’t read his dialouge to come up with a voice based on that description alone. OTS.
Fozzer: Not sure of how I’d feel hearing Patrick Star saying the words Dialectic Materialism. Not sure if I ever heard Patrick Star say a line with half the pep Fozzer actually has in his dialogue. OTS.
Stelsa: Amy Sedaris, who has experience acting as both a manager and a lawyer, she just need to be louder.
Wanshi: Blossom from ppg. The original one.
Bronya: For some reason all I can think about is Hynden Walch, but I’m gonna need a slightly more mature voice than her usual sweet cadence.
Chixie: Cristina Vee. Let us hope she can rap.
Zebruh: I don’t want to doom anyone into this role, but someone has to cover for it so sorry whoever voices Kevin in Steven Universe, we value your sacrifice.
Azdaja: You know what? Let’s leave Bryce Papenbrook to this one. To my knowledge he’s never made a cocky anime rival before, but he did Eren and Kirito, which is basically the same.
Konyll: Jasper, but emphasizes every last word on a sentence, DUH.
Karako: This should be easy and it somehow isn’t. I mean I GUESS Tara Strong could do something, since she’s basically the voice acting world’s jack of all trades. Still, OTS.
Marsti: I think Linda Cardellini can hit her particular notes of sourness and tenderness. Her voice is deep in just the right way.
Lanque: If anyone knows a trans v.a. who can do both asshole bishounen and pure softboy bishounen I’m all ears. OTS.
Remele: It’s not just about someone doing a silly faux european accent, we need someone with this specific kind of energy. OTS.

some marvus angst alphabet headcanons
im bored and feeling some type of way so lets get truckin’ folks
a - accident (would they blame themselves if you died in an accident?)
- absolutely, marvus has a savior complex that’s quite beforus-style due to how he perceives purplebloods and their role in society. he wants to be the protector for his lover, and failing to do so would shatter his high opinion of himself regarding his ability to keep them safe. his mind will constantly be flooded with thoughts of how he could have done things differently, if he had just had security follow you around, or kept you locked away safely in his hive, none of this would have happened. he should have known better - alternia is a dangerous place. b - break up (how would they deal with one?)
- aloof, aloof, aloof. at worst, he would play it off as though he didn’t really care, and at best he would be understanding and try to remain friends (although he quickly realizes he can’t do that, it hurts too much, so he ghosts his ex). marvus isn’t the type to date officially to begin with, and if he does then he goes all in. breaking up would have him revisiting where things went wrong. little, random things would remind him of his ex, and he would find himself missing them. c - crying (are they much of a crier?)
- nope, he cried when he was a wiggler if he skinned his knee or something but ever since he embarked on a career in entertainment, he learned to keep his true feelings to himself. d - death (how do they deal with any death?)
- he is very, very good at handling death. he’s a killer himself, and surrounds himself with death on a daily basis. the clown cult taught him early in life to get rid of his discomfort with dead bodies and murder and all that fun stuff, so by now he is utterly desensitized and looks upon it with mild disinterest. - if someone he loves dies, that’s a different story. first of all, it is hard for him to openly love someone to begin with. so if someone manages to break down that barrier, all of those teachings from clown church fly out the window. if his lover dies, he will bear this burden for the rest of his life, and it will be a weight that cannot ever be lifted. he will be more violent during his concerts, more erratic with his work life, drowning himself in hedonism to help himself forget the pain and loneliness, but it will never go away. e - emotion (what’s the emotion they tend to push away the most?)
- sadness. marvus haaaaaates moping around and thinking about stuff that upset him. he thinks he could do far more productive things, and he certainly works himself to the bone or hangs out with his friends to distract himself. this dude rarely deals with his own feelings, despite how introspective he tends to be. f - frustrated (how much would it take to push them off the edge?)
- i feel like it varies. if things are going well for marvus, he doesn’t usually get pissed, he’d probably take it all in stride and figure things out with a level head. but if he’s already in a bad place, then adding to the situation will make him frustrated and grouchy. g - great pain (what is the most painful thing they have witnessed?)
- the first time he witnessed a lowblood being sacrificed at church. he still remembers the begging and screaming. h - humiliation (how could they be humiliated?)
- if someone looks down on him. i think this is where his hatred of sea dwellers comes from; he doesn’t like feeling like someone is better than him, especially when they haven’t earned that status. being forced to submit to the whims of his superiors is something that pisses him off more than anything. i - injured (how do they handle themselves when injured?)
- shrugs it off, no matter what. we saw a classic example of that during his bad end after his limo exploded, and despite him eventually acknowledging he got hurt more than he thought, he still looked at the brighter side of things. j - jittery (which part of their past makes them flinch or even worked up?)
- genuine intimacy. he is totally unfamiliar with it. pailing and sensuality, he has no problem with. violence, no biggie. but vulnerability and expressions of love? he’s ready to simultaneously crawl out of his skin and yet chase after those caresses. he’ll get accustomed to them eventually, and once he’s comfortable with intimacy, you best believe he will be the biggest cuddle bug. k - kill (would they kill for revenge?)
- marvus prides himself on his self-control. he allows murder and mayhem at his concerts, and even instigates them, because all of this is done at his discretion. killing for revenge out in the open would make him feel like he lost that self-control, which he is loathe to do. so i think he would handle matters personally, either one-on-one where no one else can see and the camera crew is gone, or he will hire an assassin to do his dirty work. l - loss (what was their greatest loss?)
- i imagine he might have had close lowblood friends among his profession when he first started, and he was probably forced into a situation where they got killed in a match with him during slam or get culled. m - mistakes (how much do they want to fix the mistakes of their past?)
- marvus is probably the type to have very few regrets. he believes that everything that’s happened to him has taught him an important lesson, so changing the past would change his perspective and who he currently was. o - outrage (what makes them angry?)
- needless to say, cocky sea dwellers who overstep his boundaries and make him feel like shit. also people who invade his privacy. he puts a lot of effort into letting the public see what he wants them to see, so if someone goes the extra mile to breach the very little privacy he has left for himself, he’s gonna be livid. he also has absolutely no tolerance for anyone daring to insult his lover in any way. someone will lose their life for that.
p - pressure (what stresses them out to the breaking point?)
- honestly, i think he would never lose his composure like that in his line of work. it’s the issues that might arise in his private life that he will be unprepared to handle, since he tends to leave things unspoken and doesn’t deal with issues head-on. so when the tension between him and his lover starts to overflow, he doesn’t know how to handle it because he never learned coping mechanisms or how to properly analyze his feelings. basically, his own feelings will overwhelm him. q - qualify (what part of themselves do they see as dangerous?)
- his charm mixed with his detached facade. marvus thinks that chuckle voodoos are only a small part of what makes him dangerous. his ability to win over anyone through his personality and manipulate them into doing what he wants is what he considers to be his strongest asset. t - time (what if they had limited time to live?)
- if single, marvus immediately comes to terms with it and spends his time doing what he loves, making music and making his fans happy. if taken, he will still accept his fate to some degree, and he would stay strong for his lover until the very end. but deep down, he wishes he had more time with them. so he spends his last days entirely in their company. they are all that matters to him. u - urge (how badly do they get the urge to see you after separating?)
- if he goes on tour, the first few days, maybe week, is easy peasy. marvus is very independent and driven, and when he has a lot of duties to attend to, he will absolutely focus on them. but once he starts thinking about his lover, how he misses their warmth and laughter, it’s like a switch is flipped. he starts getting antsy about getting back to them. there’s definitely a whole lot of texting (sexting too for sure), phone calls, you name it, he even buys them a bunch of gifts for them. - if his lover is the one who goes somewhere and he has little to occupy himself with, he’s going to be THE neediest bitch on the planet, and he will try to convince you to come back as soon as possible if he can. sends them lots of texts about how much he misses them. when his lover returns, he’s waiting at the door like a housewife watching her soldier husband return from war. in both instances, he’s gonna need at least a week of your undivided attention. v - vent (how do they get rid of feelings they find unnecessary?)
- he raps about his problems! that’s how the feels jam sessions go for him (with chixie ok, there’s no one else better equipped to handle this situation). y - yearning (do old memories make them yearn for your touch?)
- he thinks about the first time you ran your fingers through his hair, when you stroked his bare cheek after he removed his face paint for the first time in your presence, the way your fingers graze along his alien features and committing them to memory, little things like this that he always remembers and craves more of.

Half-baked Homestuck epilogues theorising
Idk how to word anything (I’m dumb) but here’s what I’m guessing could happen, written in probably a very repetitive and circumlocutious way:
As we’ve all guessed (“epilogues”) there’s gonna be multiple Homestuck epilogues, and I’m thinking it really will be two - rather than a million choice-based endings (this isn’t Undertale), we’re getting one each for meat and candy.
The epilogue pretty much states as much, and Hussie’s specifically explained in the author’s notes - plus plenty of us have theorised - that meat is plot-proggessive, heavy, and often violent content. As such, I think choosing meat will send John on the retcon mission; it’ll progress the plot, and work towards the real conclusion of Homestuck and the death of English. It’s Caliborn-coded - that’s who John’s headed toward - and I think it’ll bring us back into the usual Homestuck format. I’m really interested to see which characters and from which times or timelines will makeup John’s new party - will there only be a few, or will he be making up the entire original cast from different universes? A ragtag, technically-new endgame group of players? - and most importantly, how far back will he go? As was seen in the first retcon, things (save for John and the alpha kids) seemed pretty significantly different from in the Gameover universe... that never sat well with me, and I think John felt pretty out-of-place in the retcon universe as a result. I’m wondering whether the new retcon will bring the characters and storyline back closer to the original pre-retcon - the Gameover universe - so we’ll actually see a real resolution involving the plot and characters that made up Homestuck as we originally knew it (the Homestuck before retcon). - Some people were unhappy with the ending of Homestuck because of this retcon, I think - so maybe it’s trying to clear that discourse up (it was always intended to...)
Alternaively, and similarly already theorised, candy probably refers to everything sweet and fluffy. Relationships, filler-content and fanfic - that kind of thing. Ironically, even though Caliborn seemed pretty obsessed with fluffy content, this is definitely now Callie-coded, with John able to choose then and there to stay with her at the picnic, in the post-retcon universe, and outside of canon. I think the candy route will continue to use AO3 format (due to this ‘uncanonical’ nature) and that this route will focus on resolving everyone’s relationships (which seem to have fallen apart in the period after the finale), character development, and character arcs. I think it’ll have very similar tones and underlying themes to Marvus’ hiveswap friendsim route (written by V, mind you). ‘Essentially,’ the candy route won’t be true canon - as Rose already told us; rather, it’s giving some of the fans what they want, and at its end I think everyone really will cease to exist, due to living outside of canon (and maybe because the meat/candy choice is creating two offshoots in the alpha timeline, which is therefore no longer in stasis). I also don’t think we’ll hear from Terezi or Vriska in this route, either - they’ve always been very plot-centric characters, as Vriska’s role in the original retcon showed us.
That’s not to say that there won’t be any character development or emotional aspects to meat, though - but I think the interactions and changes we see in that route will probably be kind of unexpected; the candy route will play to what the fandom wants, and what’s popular, and the meat route will give us whatever’s been decided as the actual canon, whether we like it or not.
Similarly to Lanque’s friendsim route, I think the epilogues are giving us a bit of commentary on the nature of fandom, just as with Caliborn/Callie - looking at the positives and negatives of fan-culture, and especially the way people can get angry and upset when the creator’s decisions (which are by nature ultimately canon and true in-character events). Hussie’s going to give us both what we want, and what is true to the Homestuck canon simultaneously. That’s what the upcoming meat/candy choice is telling us, and ultimately, John is now our true stand-in for the reader - with his feelings of things being ‘unfinished,’ with the way that our choice will become his, and that the story now follows only him. (It also seems kind of ironic/interesting that the one with the power to finish Homestuck is genuinely from Gameover - that perhaps the Gameover universe was truer to Homestuck canon than the post-retcon universe (hence we spent all that time on it). It makes me wonder whether current Roxy will be joining him).
In summary: the steaks are pretty fuckin high in the meat route, but I think we’ll finally be getting some closure.

After playing through Hiveswap Act 2, and reading a bit about the controversies since I haven’t kept up with its production at all, I can see why people are upset with it, though as usual I feel some people are being a bit too harsh with it.
I’m gonna add a read-more just in case this ends up in any tags, don’t want a rambling post clogging up anything! This is mostly focused on my thoughts about Act 2, not so much about fan reactions as that first bit might imply.
The whole not crediting workers thing is terrible, I agree with that. Their excuse about not encouraging harassment sounds reasonable on paper, but the trade off of straight up not crediting people and the implication that they’re covering their own ass is just too much. I don’t know enough about the situation to form any real in-depth opinion about it, but man... I just hope WP gets their shit together soon if they haven’t by now.
However, I don’t think that WP’s messy internal affairs are enough to dismiss the game altogether like I’ve seen people doing. Personally, I had tons of fun with the game and thought its writing was fine, despite the game’s flaws, and from what I’ve seen here on Tumblr, from articles online, and from player reviews, the majority of people seem to feel the same, which is relieving.
The entire game was a blast to play! I actually got all the way to the end of the trial before deciding that I wanted a particular ending and went back to play the entirety of Act 1 just so I could import a completed save with the batteries, and I think it was worth it! I uninstalled Act 1 shortly after I played it 3 years ago, but it was nice to get a refresher. It let me appreciate Joey and Xefros in the parts I played and replayed during Act 2 a lot more. It also gave me the opportunity to go and inspect things from Xefros’s perspective, which I didn’t start doing until I was on the train during my first run.
I’m not going to lie, this game made me like Joey a little bit less and Xefros a bit more. This was by no fault of the game, just me getting to know the characters better and forming a more solid opinion. In Act 1, Joey felt very “little girl, big sister” to me which was adorable, but removed from her home and from Jude she lost that a bit. Her relationship with Xefros is really nice though! Seeing her urge him to make certain realizations about Dammek was sweet. I’m also wondering how long it’ll be until her comphet wears off and she realizes she can h*ld h*nds with other g*rls.
Xefros though... this game just solidified him even more as “son boy”. Usually I don’t feel this way about characters, but he really feels like a young teen to me! I guess it’s sort of the same feeling I get about my own little sister who is about his age. It helps that I enjoyed all the character animations a lot in this, and his trial sprite was especially nice, even if he didn’t show up during it all that much. Watching him try to process everything he’s seeing about his own culture and about how others deal with interpersonal relationships hurt a lot, too... and that bit near the very end was shocking, but sadly familiar. That was incredibly rough to watch.
Now, as for the game itself, it certainly did feel different from Act 1. From what I understand, a lot of content got cut out of it, like meeting Charun and Zebede. That is really disappointing, but I was fine with what we got. One thing I really don’t get is everyone complaining about the bee game. Just put your fingers on the corresponding keys! I guess it would be hard doing that whole thing with your mouse like it suggests, but I switched over after the tutorial and it immediately clicked, like, to the point that I want to play more rhythm games with that specific set up of vertical visuals and inputs. The music was really fun too. I didn’t even realize Xefros was beatboxing during it until my second time through, after I saw James Raoch comment about it! That was a really cute touch, the mental image of Xefros beatboxing while Joey does her weird little bee dance.
Before I get into the rest of the game, I guess I’ll address how the supporting cast is written in this. From what I understand, these are each of the Friendsim trolls’ original personalities, written before Friendsim ever came out. While looking through the tag on here, I saw people were super frustrated and even angry about this, expecting them to go back and rewrite these characters... after they even had to cut entire characters from the game... I don’t know, I can understand where these criticisms are coming from, but Hiveswap Friendsim is still there if you want to see their more developed counterparts. As the trolls exist in this game, they’re more so their bulletpoints of personality that you don’t even see that much of. Personally, I enjoy seeing the differences, and makes me appreciate Friendsim even more! There were a couple of spots where I /was/ disappointed with them though, specifically with Fozzer and Boldir... Boldir at least has the animation where she looks at the player and talks about the... universal re-convergence? Was that it? While Fozzer says and does nothing of import. I somehow expected them to be something more with what their roles were in Friendsim. The same can be said of Marvus, I suppose. But overall the characters remained largely the same, and you don’t speak to many of them for long anyhow.
The ticket machine area didn’t have much to it, especially in terms of interactions, which I would have hoped would be fleshed out a bit in lieu of narrative importance. Fozzer didn’t add much, you were seeing Folkyl again later anyways, and I have no idea what that other teal’s reason for being there was. The couple of tracks that loop in this area getting constantly cut off by an announcer was pretty funny though.
The loading platform was I think my favorite area in the game. I liked how the characters were presented, and how they interacted. “Gaegrl Elwurd” or whatever she said was incredibly funny, and now that I type it out I realize that the name she uses is probably supposed to be “L-Word” or lesbian. Feel silly for not realizing that earlier. Anyhoo I still despise Zebruh even if he’s incredibly funny, especially that walk cycle. I didn’t get the scene where Marvus blows a kiss at him though in either of my runs, which is sad. Is that another way to give him confidence besides the mic? I hope so. The bit with Chixie was nice too, as was Marvus’s introduction. I liked the tip-off where he said he knew Joey would be able to get onto the train. I think there’s a bit more left for me to do in that area, though I’ll leave it for when I inevitably have to replay Act 2 whenever Act 3 comes out so I can save some item or other.
The Burgundy/Bronze car had my favorite of the Ticket to Ride tracks, probably because it was the base for all the others, and its origin story is pretty funny. I really wish there had been more interactions with the trolls presented. Diemen was a joke character even in Friendsim, but I wish Joey hadn’t completely dismissed Vikare who had I think my favorite sprite/idle animation in the game. The convo with Skylla was nice though I fear for her lusus now, and Marsti was about what I expected. While I was going through the game I had a guide up mostly because of the trial and it was funny to see how the author referred to the characters. I couldn’t tell if they hadn’t read Homestuck before this or just skipped Friendsim, but how they referred to some of the characters was pretty funny, like calling Skylla a zookeeper, or thinking Marsti was a guy for some reason. I guess she was never referred to much in the third person, so that’s fair.
The Yellow/Olive car had my least favorite Ticket to Ride track, mostly because I’m not a big fan of chip tune and think the Olives should have been represented in the song as well. Folkyl and Kuprum were still super funny even if they didn’t have much to add past introducing the player to their blood color’s traditional role. Polypa and Boldir were neat, and I loved the scenes with Azdaja and Konyyl! The part where Xefros floors Azdaja after he hurt Joey was stunning, especially after seeing how powerful he really is through Friendsim. It wouldn’t surprise me if bugandies’ and bronzes’ powers were much stronger than they realize but triggered by emotion or something and that’s part of the reason they’re so downtrodden, to keep them depressed and placid, which would also tie into the supposed purpose of lime bloods.
I had a lot of fun in the Jade/Teal car, even if it /did/ drag on a bit too long like I’ve seen a lot of people say. Its rendition of Ticket to Ride rubbed me the wrong way, too, though mostly a certain part of it, and it might just be because I listened to it for so long. I liked how each of the characters were presented, as well as all of the drama. I saw some people criticizing this part as just being the Jades throwing venom at one another and... yeah? They are? I don’t see why that’s bad, it was to exemplify toxic interpersonal relationships and to show that even the trolls’ caregiver caste could still be terrible. Anyways, the first time I went around I didn’t have the battery nor the pogs which I traded for tickets earlier, but I only realized I needed them when I got to the recess. I’d been experiencing several bugs in this room specifically, including Xefros’s trial sprite disappearing, the screen becoming solid black after accusing someone, and basic dialogue bugging out. This was all very frustrating. Also, while I did end up having fun with the trial, it was a slog to figure out. I enjoy the Ace Attorney games, but what I like the least are the leaps in logic you have to make when figuring what to present and where. This trial took that aspect and made it five times worse. I did love having Tyzias by Joey’s side though, and the ending I got was super worth it. I’m still not sure who did it. I saw a video of Lanque chucking Joey off the train, so I guess it was him? Though I don’t know how or any of the specifics. I know you can implicate Lynera too as a scapegoat.
The Cobalt/Indigo car was pretty underwhelming. I’m sad I only remembered to click on Galehk’s footnotes after I’d done his task. That whole sequence was very funny through, and I’m curious to see the other ways you could’ve gotten through. All of the characters were pretty fun, and I loved seeing Elwurd again and having her save Joey from Ardata and all. Xefros and Joey’s conversation about the revolution afterwards was really nice too.
The clown car was, understandably, horrifying. I’m going to be hearing that stock honk for the rest of eternity. It was a very fun room, and its gimmick was super interesting. I loved the animations for the wheel! I also didn’t realize that the uh, clown religion involved the red and green snakes, though it makes sense that they do. I looked back at some backgrounds for Friendsim, and while Chahut’s clown church didn’t have the red and green, Marvus’s festival DID have red and green balloons, which was interesting. This entire sequence was incredibly tense, obviously trying to make you worry it would land on Burgandy. I’m also curious about some of the alternate stuff you could do during this, like that video with Tegiri being dramatic. Also, seeing Xefros kill Baizli was super upsetting, and I think another spot where having played Friendsim could make this game a little frustrating, since in Friendsim Barzum and Baizli are just lost, fun-loving clown twins that never directly kill MSPA reader. It was surprising to see Baizli come out and approach Joey alone. It was also terrible to see what Baizli dying did to Barzum. I wonder if that’s the last we’ll see of Marvus... I’ll be disappointed if it is. It feels like he should be more important.
Now, that last section I’ll admit was pretty bad. Literally the only action section in the game and you get so little direction and nothing interesting really happens. I did in fact use a guide for this because I simply did not care. It was a super anti climactic ending sequence.
And of course, there was the train blowing up and Joey and Xefros being impeded again. There was that droopy looking dragon thingy? That shot something suspiciously bright green at the train. It’s also curious how Chahut and Marvus seem mostly disinterested or at least unrattled by the explosion.
Well, that was... a review of the whole game! I loved it a lot, even if it wasn’t what it could have been. It had some bugs, which were annoying, and issues with content, a lot of which I’m willing to chalk up to the crew getting shuffled around and people leaving and the while switch over to Viz Media. Of course, there is once again the issue of people not getting credited. But, despite all of this, I think Act 2 was an enjoyable game, and I think there was love put into it, even if the people who put love into it were put in unfair and shitty situations because of WP. I’m hoping that things have straightened out with them after that fiasco and that Act 3 will turn out a bit better, and hopefully sooner than Act 2!

Eh?? I thought I sent you? Well here I send again!! Lanque 14, Ardata 9, Chixie 6 and Mallek 20, but of your favourite AU out there ouo
Im finally getting to this, thank you for your patience.
Lanque 14. Ingrained habits/forces of habits
Doing his make up. He doesn't have much control over his life and has a uniform, make up is where he gets to play around and is fully his. It's a nice, almost meditative way to start the evening assuming other jades aren't trying to bust the bathroom door down because it's been 20 minutes and someone is about to go feral.
Ardata 9. Humiliating memories
God you know highbloods doing react videos to some of her early work was deeply unpleasant. Nothing like having literal clowns critiquing your murder techniques for laughs. She very much cares about her image so people above her picking at something she puts a lot of work in is not pleasant and throws her off, e.g. Boldir.
Chixie 6. Their vices, physical or emotional
She can casually drink, but she does turn to drinking when feeling particularly powerless and just wanting to turn off the part of her mind that registers how shitty things are for her. Sometimes thing just get to be to much to deal with so she doesn't. And practically there isn't much she can do. She also really likes attention which isn't the most healthy. She puts a lot of work into her music and someone reacting positively really makes her day and it can be almost addicting. She tends to open up very quickly around positive sources of attention and this can go badly depending on someone's motives.
(Zebruh's attention is very different from Dammek's. Zebruh very clearly wants a relationship and doesn't care about her music where Dammek likes her music and discusses it with her with a more subtle motivation.)
Mallek 20. What if/alternate timelines
Well, 😏 imagine if you will a post ascention au.
Lmao though seriously sgrub aus are very fun and the idea of him, Skylla, and Marvus having to work together is hilarious.
